The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine provides safe anesthesia with minimal side effects for all surgical patients, ensuring optimal post-operative pain control. The department also operates a Pain Clinic to manage acute and chronic pain in both inpatients and outpatients, including pain management for elderly patients and palliative pain care for terminal cancer patients.
Major Clinical Areas
01. Anesthesia Management: Neuroanesthesia, cardiothoracic/vascular anesthesia, organ anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, geriatric anesthesia, outpatient anesthesia, etc.
02. Critical Care: Ventilatory support, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
03. Pain Management: Acute and chronic pain, cancer-related pain, post-operative pain control
